Help with text

The YandexGPT neural network can help you correct text errors, enhance writing style, and shorten or translate the contents of the emails, social media posts, or messages that you write.

  1. Type your text in the input field and select it.

  2. In the menu that appears, click Help with text.

    Note

    If your text is in a foreign language, the Translate option appears instead of Help with text.

    If you don't see the Help with text button, make sure that the option is enabled in the settings:

    1. Click  → Settings → Tools.

    2. Under Neural tools, enable Show "Help with text" button when text is selected.

    3. Under Context menu, enable Show toolbar when text is selected.

    Right-click the text and select Help with text in the context menu.

    If you have the Compact context menu option enabled in the settings, select More in the context menu: the Help with text option appears inside.

    Via spell check

    If you make a typo, Yandex Browser underlines the word with a red squiggly line. Right-click the underlined word and select Fix errors. YandexGPT corrects grammatical and punctuation errors, showing a revised version of your text in a separate window.

  3. Select an option:

    • Fix errors: Correct grammatical and punctuation errors.

    • Shorten: Shorten the text without distorting its meaning.

    • Improve style: Enhance the language, clarity, and overall appeal of your text.

    • Translate: Translate the text into another language. In the translation window, select the target language.

    A new version of your text appears in a separate window.

  4. Select an action:

    • To replace your text with the revised version, click Replace selected text.

    • To copy the text, click .

    • If you want YandexGPT to suggest an alternate wording when shortening a text or improving its style, click Another option. The text must be longer than 100 characters.
